Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers from engineers, not sales scripts. If you don't see your question here, book a call and we'll talk through it.
How much does a typical project cost?
Launch Track projects typically range from $50K–$150K depending on scope. Scale Track and AI engagements are structured as retainers or milestone-based contracts. We provide a detailed proposal after technical discovery.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Yes, but we expect you to have validated your idea with users and understand your market. We're engineers, not generic consultants. We build what's been defined and validated—we don't run endless discovery workshops to figure out what you should build.
What's your typical timeline?
Launch Track: 10–16 weeks. Scale Track: 3–6 months. AI & R&D: 4–8 months. Timelines depend on scope, integrations, and compliance. We commit to fixed timelines in the SOW.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. For serious engagements we sign mutual NDAs before technical discovery so we can review architecture, constraints, and data with confidence.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. We integrate with your engineers, designers, and product managers. We join your Slack, attend standups, and work inside your tools (GitHub, Jira, Linear, etc.) so we behave like an internal team, not an external vendor.
Do you offer staff augmentation?
No. We operate as a dedicated product and engineering squad, not body-shopping. If you just need individual contractors to fill a seat, we're probably not the right fit.
What happens after launch?
We offer post-launch support retainers for ongoing feature development, optimization, and maintenance. We can stay on as your fractional product+engineering team or help you transition to your own internal team.
How do we get started?
Book a 30-minute discovery call. We'll review your product, goals, and constraints. If there's a fit, we send a proposal and timeline so you know exactly what you're getting into before we write a single line of code.
Still have questions?
We're happy to go deep on architecture, pricing, or timelines. No sales theater—just an honest technical conversation.
